Mary Ann, I was born in Erwin Tennessee but reside in Kingsport. As a teen, I lived in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I wrote a children’s novel last year called ” The Voyage Of Billy Buckins.” My novel is a sea adventure with a lot of pirates. My manuscript is in editing and will be published and it’s due out in book stores this fall. My second book is a short Illustrated children’s book called ” Tommy Hop The Bunny,” and is also due out in the fall by my publisher. My question is about membership in the AAG&A, because neither of my books are about the Appalachian area. To be a member of AAG&A, does my books have to be about the area or is my native heritage enough? Please take the time to look over my blog.
I would like to say hello to everyone at AAG&A. I just became a member and look forward to meeting all of you. My book “The Voyage of Billy Buckins” is due out in about a week. A local press release is set for November 14Th by my publisher. I also have a second book called “Tommy Hop the Bunny” that is in cover design and should be on the market by Christmas. Take care and see you in the near future.
Thanks for all the hard work and the splendid results. I’ll pass this information along to all my writing friends.
