Last week and this are busy weeks for Appalachian Authors Guild and Associates members. For twelve days a premier Virginia summer event takes place in historic Abingdon, VA. Daily three AAG&A authors participate in this event, as they did last year, by signing and selling books on the Barter Green, adjoining world-famous Barter Theatre on Main Street. A sign on the authors’ tent invites visitors to ‘Meet the Author’ and countless folks from all over the place have done just that. Even bought a number of books, too!

In conjunction with the Festival, authors unable to secure a spot in the tent during the festival are holding book signings at the Guild book store inside the Hidden Memories Antiques Store further down Main Street in Abingdon.

AAG&A invites any and all to come on down and ‘Meet the Author(s)’!
